The Euromaidan revolution and the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014 significantly influenced the rethinking of many aspects of the history of the Second World War. The full-scale invasion of Russia gave impetus to further rethinking of the events of the Second World War by the Ukrainian society. The presentation will focus on the following issues:<br \/>\n\u2013 Soviet heritage and post-Soviet realities. The \u201cGreat Patriotic War\u201d vs the Second World War. What were the politics of memory in Ukraine before 2014?<br \/>\n\u2013 What was the impact of the Euromaidan and the Russian aggression (2014) on the politics of memory and the politics of history?<br \/>\n\u2013 \u201cSites of memory\u201d dedicated to war in a Ukrainian city: Soviet and post-Soviet. Is such combination possible in urban space?<br \/>\n\u2013 The World War on the pages of textbooks: before and after 2014\/2022.
