This year’s Summer Institute for the Study of East Central and Southeastern Europe (SISECSE) was a great success – the interdisciplinary group of researchers had some thought-provoking lectures and discussions, spent two pleasant weeks in quiet Blagoevgrad, and worked hard on their projects.
