We would like to invite you to the upcoming lecture, part of the seminar “Economic and Social History of Bulgaria: The Future through the Past Culture”. The discussions series continues with a lecture by Assoc. Prof. Hristo Hristozov on the “Colonization and Ecological Changes in the Southeastern Balkans in the Early Modern Period: Deforestation in Ottoman Thrace in the Second Half of the 16th Century.”

The seminar series are convened by Martin Ivanov and Roumen Avramov. They are hosted by the Centre for Advanced Study Sofia.
