Dr. Kateryna Dysa is an Associate Professor at the History department of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. She has got her PhD in History from Central European University. Her research interests include early modern and 19th-century Ukrainian and European history, in particular history of witchcraft trials and witch-beliefs; history of everyday life; history of sexuality and social control; history of travel and travel literature. In previous years she has been a research fellow of The Eugene and Daymel Shklar Research Fellowship in Ukrainian Studies at Ukrainian Research Institute, Harvard University and Chopivsky Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Ukrainian Studies at Stanford University.
