Miglena Stamberova

Miglena Stamberova is an Assistant Professor at the Exhibitions Department of the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She holds a PhD in Archaeology (2012) and works in the field of ancient archaeology and museology. Her research interests include the Thracian archeology; archaeometric studies of metal finds; socialisation and popularisation of cultural heritage; cultural tourism. She is currently leading a research project investigating the impact of politics on Bulgarian archaeology during the communist period and the years of transition.
