Current Fellows

Mykola Fediai is an intellectual historian and Research Fellow at the H. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He holds a PhD in Philosophy (2025), an MA in East European Studies from the University of Warsaw, and an MA in History from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. His research focuses on scholasticism, the circulation of knowledge across confessional and cultural boundaries, and the intellectual and educational history of early modern Ukraine, particularly the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. As a member of the “Polonica Philosophica Orientalia” project, he co-edited a critical edition of the Latin manuscript of Mykhailo Kozachynskyi’s Philosophia moralis seu Ethica (Warsaw, 2024). Within the ERC-funded project “From East to West, and Back Again,” he wrote the forthcoming monograph Latin Philosophy and Greek Faith: The Kyiv-Mohyla Academy on the Intellectual Map of Early Modern Europe (Florence, 2026).
