CAS Sofia is currently recruiting a full-time

Coordinator of International Projects 

Main responsibilities:
• Providing administrative support to an international, Sofia-based research institute in the human and social sciences;
• Assistance with the preparation of funding proposals for research initiatives;
• Maintaining contacts with funding organizations;
• Monitoring and reporting progress for ongoing research projects;
• Attend project-related meetings and assist with determination of project requirements;
• Communication with partners from the Bulgarian and international academic networks of the Institute;
• Prepare, review and submit progress and final reports to the funding organizations throughout the lifecycle of the projects;
• Communicate ideas for improving the Institute's internal processes with a positive and constructive attitude.

Required Qualifications:
• Excellent oral and written English (close-to-native fluency would be a big advantage);
• Higher education, preferably with a profile in the human and/or social sciences;
• Proven experience in project / programme management;
• International experience would be an advantage;
• Strong drafting skills in Bulgarian and English;
• Command of German would be an advantage;
• IT skills (Internet, MS Office).
