She has been a Visiting Fellow in Vienna, Konstanz, Potsdam and Sofia. Her latest position was at the European University Institute in Florence as a Research Associate in the ERC project \u201cLooking West: The European Socialist Regimes Facing Pan-European Cooperation and the European Community\u201d until September 2020 and then as a Visiting Fellow until July 2021. She is author of the book (in Bulgarian) Sofia: <em>Ideology, Urban Planning and Life under Socialism<\/em> (Sofia: Prosveta, 2016).<\/p>\n<p>Her latest publications include: \u201cBalancing between Socialist Internationalism and Economic Internationalization: Bulgaria\u2019s Economic Contacts with the EEC\u201d, in A. Romano and F. Romero (eds.), <em>European Socialist Regimes\u2019 Fateful Engagement with the West: National Strategies in the long 1970s<\/em> (London: Routledge, 2021); \u201cSqueezed between External Trade Barriers and Internal Economic Problems: Bulgaria\u2019s Trade with Denmark in the 1970s\u201d (<em>European Review of History: Revue europ\u00e9enne d\u2019histoire<\/em> 27:3\/2020); \u201cExporting Holidays: Bulgarian International Tourism and the Scandinavian Market in the 1960s and 1970s\u201d in S. B. Pedersen and C.
