The idea of this seminar is to publicise the latest discoveries made by our team of researchers, whose goal it is to shed light on the &#8220;management&#8221; and consequences of the Chernobyl disaster in Bulgaria.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar is co-organised by the Centre for Advanced Study Sofia (<a href=\"https:\/\/cas.bg\/en\/\">https:\/\/cas.bg\/en\/<\/a>) and the Institute for Studies of the Recent Past (<a href=\"https:\/\/minaloto.bg\/gb\/\">https:\/\/minaloto.bg\/gb\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The second seminar will take place on <strong>11 February 2025, Tuesday, at 16:30<\/strong> at the Centre for Advanced Study Sofia.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Momchil Metodiev will introduce the topic &#8220;The Bulgarian State and the Chernobyl Accident: Decision-Making Process, Historical Context and Consequences.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A regular discussion series on the topic &#8220;Bulgaria after Chernobyl&#8221; is set to start in Janury 2025.
